February 2012 Since amending that resolution in July 2012, I now run 5k+ with ease, and I'm running 30 x 5k in 2013 to raise sponsorship/money/awareness for World Vision by doing weekly Saturday morning parkruns. My Goals:
30 x 5ks in 2013 and raising sponsorship/money/awareness for World Vision
My Program:
Running 5k twice a week, Aerobics class once a week, leading a couch to 5k group twice a week. Aiming to run more now that the evenings are light until after 7pm.
Personal Information:
50+ in external years, 17 inside. Diagnosed with diabetes in April 2012, and with SparkPeople's diabetes plan I'm managing it by diet not pills. Two adult sons, two gorgeous grandchildren and a lovely husband (DH) who always brings me a cup of tea in bed to start the day. An eternal optimist even in the face of evidence to the contrary.
Other Information:
Book-aholic, love music, love dancing. Running helps beat depression. When I track my eating, I eat more mindfully.
