I am making another round here on Sparks. I want to lose weight so I can be fit and healthy. Right now my goal is to lose weight slowly and steady. I want to make this a lifestyle choice not a diet! I am a paleo/low carb person who really likes my veggies (I know! Weirdo LOL) I love riding my horses in the idaho mountains, enjoy wogging through half marathons and generally enjoy life!

Thanks the comment. I've actually increased my protein over the past months, so that's the confusing part for me. My fat intake comes from olive oil in salad and the fat on the lean pork and chicken I eat. And eggs. But yesterday I definitely got in my protein from the 4 eggs I used to make the sweet potato pancakes. The cauliflower mac and cheese sounds delicious, but the problem is the cheese part. Since I'm allergic to dairy. Even the alternative cheeses have products in them that I'm allergic to. Soo.. no alternative what so ever. That's the problem. I can't fulfill the craving because I'm allergic to what I'm craving and there are no alternatives! But I woke up this morning and went on a decent run and did my strength training, so hopefully that'll rejuvenate me.

Oh, I LOVED Omnivore's Dilemma!! Glad to hear you are a Nora fan, too. I need to listen to her Podcast!

I also have a Kindle and often straddle the fence on "Kindle vs. Hard Copy." But generally, if it's a book I will refer to a lot for reference, I get the hard copy. I didn't do that with "Why We're Fat" and wish I would have. Now I feel like I need to go back and re-read the whole book (even though I highlighted sections.)

LOVE my Kindle, though!!

Just wanted to let you know I am still Primal.....since 10/31 I am down 7 solid pounds! I am feeling great and wonderful. I had a bite of pumpkin pie and just about died, it was so sweet that it tasted bad. How is that for changing your genes?
