The Journey

I am 25 years old. I married the most wonderful man in June 2007. I love to travel. I love to spend time with my family - which often involves tons of junk food!

I am currently attempting to live life the best I can. One of the things blocking me is my weight and my discomfort with it. I am determined to change that.

I am currently attempting to live life the best I can. One of the things blocking me is my weight and my discomfort with it. I am determined to change that.

This is my journey to become the person I want to be, physically. As I have been going along lately, I have also come to discover that much of this journey is also a mental battle. I am learning to accept who I am and what I have accomplished. Meeting my goals has meant a lot of mental change as well. Im sure there will be more before my goals are reached!

My progress so far:
*Taking my time while eating!
*Listening to my bodies 'full' signals!
*increasing my fruits and veggies
*increasing my water!
*learning the signals of what my body is lacking

Longterm Goals:
*130 pounds
*Size 6 and 8 pants

Next step goal:
*150 pounds by September 4 (Jaq's wedding)

Rewards:
*150 -New shoes for the wedding!
*140 - photo shoot
*130 - New jeans!

My Goals:
I want to feel beautiful everyday!

I want to be happy with who I am.

I want to be the best wife I can.

I want to be healthy - in my eating and my weight.

My Program:
This is an everday thing for the rest of my life!

So far these are my steps:
* 8 glasses of water everyday
* watching the food that goes into my mouth
* meeting with a friend for exercise once per week
*drinks with calories only sparingly
*add a few steps each day (park farther out in the parking lot, go to the bathroom farther away, etc.)

Things I want to incoporate into my rountine:
*walks everyday it is above 60 degrees outside

Other Information:
I am always looking for motivation and great ideas. Any help is appreciated. I would love to hear about your success stories and how you go there or continue to do so. Some day I hope to share my own!

Hi!!! thanks for stopping by my page, I had troubles with the internet for quite a long time and wasn't able to log on SP. Despite not being able to track food and stuff I was able to lose some weight :). Now I'll be trying to catch up with everything that happened in our group and challenge!
