GETTING OLDER,SLOWER BUT HEALTHIER.

i have been working endlessly since i started this program with spark to straighten out my bad habits. ha some i have managed and some i have not. but. im still working on them.

i do not eat ice cream anymore. i eat greek frozen yogurt and i just buy the small containers. i make sure i eat fruit all week long and veggies. my consumption of meat is very small. i get my grains. but have discovered im sensitive to wheat it makes my stomach swell. i still have trouble drinking water ...

i do not eat ice cream anymore. i eat greek frozen yogurt and i just buy the small containers. i make sure i eat fruit all week long and veggies. my consumption of meat is very small. i get my grains. but have discovered im sensitive to wheat it makes my stomach swell. i still have trouble drinking water that my body needs. i dont keep any candy on hand anymore, instead i opt for popcorn. i am resisting the urge to buy a candy bar or donut when im at the check out counter. and i have almost the key work is almost stopped eating out with my friends. i dont have lunch out anymore in other words. but i do go out with my husband to eat occasionally and only eating healthy choices. so i have learned quit a bit since i started. however i have gained back some and lost some with sickness i have been through and pills dr. had me on. but through all of this i still try and am willing to learn more and lose. i have never gone back to 260 when i first started. its only been a small gain. im working and always aware of when i mess up. i do weigh myself everyday. i know they say not to but it keeps me on my toes. occasionally i want that piece of cake or pie and i eat it. but always going back to watching and eating healthy. im also incorporating vitamin D-3 and other vitamins into my body. eight years i have managed to keep from not ever going back to 260. i think i did very well.

My Goals:
no hfcs in my life. no aspartame. lots of veggies,little meat. exercise: riding my bike with manny,swimming, bad minton with manny, weights at gym. focus on my arthritis to feel better be pain free.

My Program:
drink water at least 8 cups a day. weigh in once a week. follow sparkpeople and weight watchers they work good together. exercise 3 days maybe 4 a week. get out and go places with manny camping etc.

belinda , age 62� born in missouri, reside in omaha ne. married to high school sweetheart for 44 years. three children, 2 boys , one girl. 9 grandchildren. 2 great grand sons.

i like andrea bocelli,chris botti, david bowie, port wine, any german wine,limbrusco, marsala wine.italian white wine, phantom of the opera, the new one,and the one with antonio banderes,� cats the musical. english� people from britain. my husband is portugues/azorian, anything italian, especially italian people.,irish and scotts. art. music. majored in psyc/soc. minor vocals and music. love photography.
