The 4 healthy lifestyle roles I can’t live without , and the 4 healthy lifestyle roles that can’t live without me are:

10/08 Found SparkPeople using "exercise and nutrition" as a Google search! Began reading SparkPeople articles, blogs, emails, and tracking food and exercise every daily.

11/08 Daily Spark Entry: " The Magical Cooking Technique That Will Get You to Eat Your Veggies " Before creating this delicious recipe I had heard of vegetables, but I had never actually seen one!

12/08 To increase my daily water intake I ordered both a red and blue SparkBottle, naming them "fire" and "ice," respectively!

01/09 Daily Spark Entry:"Should We Impose an "Obesity Tax" on Soft Drinks?" I responded by imposing every pay period a $1 per excessive fat gram charitable donation tax on myself to cure me of excessive fat grams!
01/16 1169g spent -1120g limit = $49.00 tax
($49 literature ordered online & donated to Depressed Anonymous)

02/09 Purchased and began wearing a SparkPeople T-shirt on my days off to remind me of my Sparkfound commitment to fitness and to spend a little spare time spreading the Spark!

03/09 Daily Spark Entry: "Discover the Perfect Workout for Your Fitness Personality" I celebrated my "square" fitness personality by purchasing a portable DVD player so that now I can exercise anywhere!

04/09 Paticipated in a month long SparkBuddy challenge of accumulating water and fitness minutes!

05/09 After attemding the first SparkConvention held in San Diego, California - I redesigned my SparkPage to reflect the SparkPeople Fuel For Improvement System!

LONG TERM: Continue weight loss that started from 327 lbs and ends with maintenance at 150lbs.

MEDIUM TERM:
Lose 50 lbs from 10/08 to 10/09
SHORT TERM:
Lose 5 lbs each month

FITNESS: To one day match the same workout pace as the exercise instructors on my DVDs!






My Program:
"Fitness for Chessplayers"
When I weigh-in every Friday, my metabolism makes a chess move. When I select my one eating or exercise behavior change for that week then I am making a counter chess move. The game never ends, but I am becoming a better fitness chessplayer!
