Becoming the runner I used to be
20 years ago (and 50 pounds ago) I used to be able to run a sub 3:30 marathon. My daily runs were an addiction I could not do without. Now running is a chore. It has been a steady slide downhill for the last 15 years. As I approach 60, unless I change my ways, it will continue to get worse.

My Goals:
I want to get back to my good running weight of 20 years ago. 175 pounds seems about right. I turned 60 last year and have steadily put weight back on. I stepped on the scale this morning and weighed 232.6 (the most ever!!). So today (6/20/12), I start over. THe journey begins!
My Program:
I've always been pretty good about running (5-6 days a week for the last 30+ years). I need to change some bad habits (soda, donuts, late night snacks, etc) and start some new ones (drinking water, eating healthy, counting calories, etc). Learn to say No (to food).
