I got this...
I've discovered that weight loss for me is a mindset more than following a diet and exercise plan. Moving from unhealthy states of mind about my image, myself, my life to healthy ones is what helps me now to stick to leading a healthy lifestyle. I'm still learning and facing challenges with consistency, but I got this now:). Let's do it!!! June 9, 2013: This is the first week of the BLC22 challenge. I plan to lose 12lb during the next 12 weeks. I will face the challenge of sticking to my goals because I'm a busy mom of 2 beautiful daughters aged 4 and 13, I started a new business, and I'll be going on vacation to southern Italy during 2 weeks of the challenge!:/ I hope to report in 12 weeks that I achieved my goal of losing 12lb. GO Scarlet Starlets ~ I'm thrilled to be on this team:)!

My Goals:
1) Lose 1lb a week 2) Run 5k in 35mins 3) Be able to do military style push ups 4) Live an active lifestyle
My Program:
1) Eat natural foods and stay away from processed foods and sugar; 5 fruit/veg servings daily 2) Track food daily and stick to calorie/nutrient amounts 3) Drink 8 glasses of water daily 4) Journal progress / challenges 5) Seek support from SP and friends 6) 30-45 minutes of cardio 5x/week 7) pilates 2x/week 8) strength training 2x/week 9) Swimming/hiking/bike riding with family at weekends 1x/week 10) adequate protein intake at every meal 11) Make a meal plan each week and stick to it
Personal Information:
I'm a mommy from CA, but since 2011, I've been living in Europe. The changes I've experienced in lifestyle here vs CA have been interesting so far. I hope to return home in 2 years time slim, slender and super healthy.
