My Goals:
I want to reach my ideal weight of 140-145. I'd like to get there, or at least closer to it, by the time I am pregnant with our firstborn.

My Program:
I aim for cardio twice a week, and the other days I either walk or do an hour of yoga or some strength training. I am working up to eliminating dessert, drinking lots of water, and making sure I eat enough vegetables! I have also started training for a local 5K.

Personal Information:
Rachel Soto in White Sulphur Springs, Montana. I'm a county Extension Agent, working with Montana State University on extended education among agricultural producers and the community. I also work with 4-H kids and parents in the youth development program, and LOVE gardening and cooking.

Rachel, I'd like to add you as a friend. We have some great things in common, so I thought maybe we could be Spark buddies. I also love to garden and cook from scratch (didn't know they had a group for that!). I just read your post about the push mower (congratulations) and your new pullets! I use to have chickens and would like to again, but now is not the time. You probably already know how cool chickens are. They each have their own personality.

Anyways, I hope we can be Spark buddies!

Hey How is it going, I haven't been doing so great I swear everyone around me is eating even more now that I am trying to eat less. My boyfriend bought me out to eat at this place with nothing healthy and my sister, who is also overweight is binging like every night. I am trying hard though, drinking water, working out, trying to eat right. I am so scared to weigh myself. I hope you are doing well, let me know

I really want to lose 30 lbs by my graduation at the end of May, I know it's a long shot but I really want to. I plan on eating balanced healthy portions of the foods I enjoy. I really want to cut out sweets and junk also!!! I plan to buy more fruits and vegetables rather than mac and cheese when I go to the supermarket. I want to work out 5x a day doing cardio on some of those day I just do cardio, on other day I combine cardio with a pilates, yoga or body sculpting class. I need motivation to go to the gym when I know I should be. I am also one to plateau and that is usually when I begin to feel defeated.

I guess I just want someone with similar goals who I can share the ups and downs of the experience with I think when people work with someone they tend to stay motivated. I suppose the details of what we share with one another is something that will be fleshed out naturally.
