I can't believe that I started Spark People in 2010. It looks like I bounced back in here in 2012 but that was a short stay!.. Well it is time again to recharge myself and my mind on how to stay healthy for good.. My health actually has been very good. The weight didn't all come back but it inched up there slowly. I realize what I need is to learn more about healthy choices. And to use our trackers. I have not done well with thinking off the top of my head :) So here I am back again and ...
I have not done well with thinking off the top of my head :) So here I am back again and hopefully to stay a bit longer and learn a whole lot more. I have always enjoyed this site and will be encouraging others to join.
To walk 3+ miles a day 5 days a week. To always reach for the healthy choices. To write in my gratitude journal every day.
To do a good cardio work out during the day and a nice yoga workout before going to bed at night 5x a week
I will track my food everyday.
I will write in my journal each day.
I am working towards a healthy heart and to improve my circulation.
I do the walking videos and I am considering ordering some dance videos. The goal is to be strong and healthy so I can be more active during the warmer months
My name is Ronie. I live in Oregon with my Husband. My children are grown. I enjoy getting together with family and friends. My husband and I love to cook and I am pouring over the SparkRecipes to find some good healthy choices that he will love to!
We moved to the beach in 2004 and love it. We bought a house and have been having a wonderful time fixing it up and writing down great ideas for future projects
I like to do things with my hands. I like to crochet. I taught myself thread and filet crochet I also taught myself to knit 'Something' about 4 years ago. I have made my socks that I wanted to do and I learned to use DPN's then I am glad that I did.. because now I am knitting beautiful lace and enjoy that more than anything. I knit and crochet evenly.. I usually have one or two projects going at a time in each of those crafts
Thank you for your comment on my blog post. Everytime I struggle with this journey, I try to remind myself that God gives us just enough to make us stronger in our walk. But it's usually me giving myself the extra burden, when God is trying to take it. I wonder how many times a day He shakes his head at me when I do something so clearly stupid. I love that He is so patient with me. He never gives up, even when I want to. I love that about Him!

Thank you for commenting on my blog, "Day 47 of 90: Giving Myself A Fresh Start." Have a healthy day!
PS: Ronie, congrats on losing 5 lbs during your six week challenge, that is great! I don't think you failed the challenge, even though you wanted to lose 9. The fact is, you LOST WEIGHT...not as much as you wanted, but it was still a loss and that is awesome! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. The calorie counts on the drinks are way out there, which is why I usually got the ones with the least amount of calories and no whip, etc. Syrups were another matter. I had actually switched to getting tea at the shop, now it is more about not spending the money and breaking myself of the habit and the hype that went along with the drink and other items for sale. Tea is a much healthier choice and is much easier to prepare!
