Healthy For Life
I have been trying to lose weight off and on for about 25 years. I tried lots of programs and was successful for a while, but went back to old habits. Once I started to live a healthy lifestyle instead of seeing this as a diet, I had success. I lost an initial 57 pounds with a doctor supervised, low-carb program. The program got me pass the mental block that I couldn't lose weight. Now, I want to lose another 20 pounds and maintain using the resources at SparkPeople.

Weight: 180 Goals: Size 10 or 12 (I like being strong and curvy!); to be a great grandmother (my 1st grandchild is due in mid-Feb) Health: Increase stamina during cardio Future: To still be doing Zumba at the age of 90!
My Program:
Currently follow SparkPeople recommendations for nutrition---except I'm a low-carber. Weekly, I teach Zumba 4 times but need to find time to incorporate strength training.
Other Information:
I love Jesus, my family, Scrabble, Jeopardy and the ID channel! I also love to read and dance.
