Running Momma

Lost 50lbs over 5 years. Gained about 10 back this year. Want to lose that 10 and maintain. Ran a lot in college and before I had kids. Got back into running a few years ago. Want to run a 1/2 marathon this year. Married to a great guy and have 2 teenage children.

Nice to see another running momma in Indiana! Are you doing the mini this year? Would love to meet up some day for a run! Thanks for adding me as a friend! I still have some goals to reach this year! I'm glad to have some friends along for the run!

thanks for the comment, I've heard that a lot about the transitions. It seems like the area of least time and possible gain? Why do people say work on those so much? I've been trying to learn how to ride a bike. LOL I've got my running down to where I can pretty much hold between 8 and 9 minute miles for at least 10 miles, so I am feeling more confident with that. I can hold between 1:30 and 1:40 pretty much forever in the water, so it's just the bike I am worried about. Anyway, thanks again for the comment. Good luck on getting that 1/2 marathon completed this year.

Thanks for your comment on my blog, I have changed things out as far as exercise and diet, only to gain 2 pounds back this week.
This is why I am so frustrated. I can handle staying the same a bit better than gaining the weight back, I just don't know what to do at this point.

I don't want to throw in the towel though I on the verge of doing just that. I do still have just a flicker of hope that I will begin to shed some of this weight and give me the motivation to continue forward. Thank you for being there.
