A Brand-new Me!

I am a 50 year old woman who has started a new life. I've lost 160 lbs, and am trying to live a more active lifestyle. I can do so much more than I used to, and I feel great! But now I've reached maintenance, and I know I have to keep up these behaviors for the rest of my life. That is the ultimate challenge!

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog about Peanut! I thought I wouldn't have any horses again, but this boy was just too good to turn down! I know you have to miss your horses, they are a way of life if you are really into it.
I am looking forward to hours in the saddle on him! Thanks again! emoticon

Thanks for the blog comment. Glad you enjoyed the 10 miler. I love that race! And there were plenty of times during the marathon that I wondered, why didn't I just stick with that race??! ;)

I use the same technique to buy individual portions. It's easier that way. When I visit my boyfriend's or my parents, visits would be less disastrous if I had some self control.

I definitely will be looking into Nanowrimo! Thanks for the tip! emoticon

When I was 160 and running half marathons, I didn't consider myself "in shape". It really is a relative definition! Maybe because we are working on it to be always be better than who we were yesterday! emoticon
