Nothing feels so good.... as Peace feels.

I started on Spark in September 2011. I had good success for about a year, then I struggled with up/down, up/down. I lost 100# when I was 60, then gained it all back, the lost 100# when I was about 70 - and now have gained it all back. I really want to be healthy, but sweets are like cocaine I guess... One bite and I'm off into a pit. God has amazingly kept me healthy despite the abuse I have done to my body.

So here we are in late 2015 and I am miserable, can't bend over to ...

So here we are in late 2015 and I am miserable, can't bend over to put on socks without feeling miserable! Starting again 11/5/15. Getting old and getting fat again has been miserable.

I'm thanking God for His strength, His leading, and His protection through all my ups and downs.

Hi I added you as a friend. Your bio sounds like mine. I also love, love, love Karen Kingsbury. I don't mind being alone either. Just reading with one cat in my lap and one laying across my legs.

A perfect winter night.

I look forward to getting to know you through Spark. We are all on this journey together.

Thank you for the Birthday Goodie. It brightened my day. I too need to start working harder. At 67 I need to lose about 125 lbs. I don't work hard enough. I am maintain instead of losing. Have a great day. We can do this.

Hoping this goes through, I've changed some technology! We are doing great, and I'm feeling so determined that I'm thinking about setting some goals that have only been wishful thinking up to now... like getting to a weight I've never seen as an adult! Why NOT!?! I'm worth it! I mentioned that certain number to an always-thin friend and I could tell she didn't think I'd ever make it, so that made me even more motivated! WE CAN DO THIS!!! in fact, we ARE doing it! emoticon
