Just realized you had sent me a long note with that Spark goodie-- thanks! I've actually read Dr. Hyman's book and agree with you about low carb higher fat being really satisfying in some ways-- I just can't seem to go more than a week or 10 days without feeling kind of blecchh. Some people say that just doing the low carb or partial fasting for part of the week is a good idea, but I don't know-- it would be like doing those hard first days over and over again! I'm constantly rethinking it! If I can just keep my calories down for now, I'll be happy! Can always tweak a bit down the road. Thanks again! --Mari 10 days ago
