I have always struggled with my weight, but had managed to keep it at a managable level 5 years ago with the help of joining a gym and going low carb. I quit smoking 7 months ago and piled it all back on. I know that not smoking is just awesome, but realized I couldn't keep going on the path I was taking with food and excersize. I have joined the gym again and using the nutrition page on SP. I'm very impatient though as it seems to be slow going these first few weeks!

It is now 4 1/2 months later and slow and steady wins the race!!!
20 lbs down and turned into a runner! ME! I am in awe. With the help of SparkPeople I have changed my life and like everyone says, it is a lifestyle not a diet and I'm learning new things every day still that help me.
