This is my story.
Three years ago I was in a bad car accident. I have several back injuries which are not completely understood. After about 2 months of lying on my back in bed my body started to freak out. I just wanted to move. So slowly I got stronger and I started to exercise more and more and more. I was able to go back to work (I worked in preschool, very active job) and was living a fairly normal life, though I did still suffer from pain and have regular physiotherapy. About a year after ...

I just wanted to move. So slowly I got stronger and I started to exercise more and more and more. I was able to go back to work (I worked in preschool, very active job) and was living a fairly normal life, though I did still suffer from pain and have regular physiotherapy. About a year after that accident I was on my way home from a lap swim, when someone rear ended me at a stop light. Not only did this cause my injuries to get worse, but it also caused PTSD and a pretty serious episode of depression. I was not able to finish my schooling. I was not able to go back to work. I have spent the last 2 years dealing with depression and chronic pain. I didn't drive a car for over a year because of fear. I had to continue to live at home and put my dreams on hold. You might think that is a sad story, but its not, its just life, and everyone has a story that could break your heart. These events have brought me here to the place I am now. I can drive a car now, even in the snow. I am coping with my depression and starting to feel like my old self again and everyday I get stronger. I still can't do all the things that I used to be able to do, and might not ever be able to do them all, but everyday it gets better. I am making the the steps to go back to school this year. I am going to lose my extra weight and I am going to have a healthy back. These events brought me to spark people and have made me who I am. I can do it, and so can you!
