Girl in the mirror...

Reality check: A lifestyle change is all about these things..

You can never, ever use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight..
At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and
deal with your problems..
You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life..
Lossing weight is not a cure for life..
Phillip C. McGraw

“You have the duty and gift of living. You don't have the right to sit on the sidelines-use your life and get back into the game.”

Phillip C. McGraw

"There’s a difference between interest and commitment. When you’re interested in doing something, you do it only when it’s convenient. When you’re committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results."

- Kenneth Blanchard

I believe I shape my future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man's doing but my own. I am the force; I can clear any obstacle before me or I can be lost in the maze. My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my destiny. No excuses..

Thank you! I believe the chemo is why I am still here today, even though my cancer has spread to my bones, the chemo has kept it from going into my organs. I'm glad to hear that your two family members who have gone through chemo are survivors!

The victory is yours, if only you choose, to do what is right, so that you can lose!

Just keep moving ahead, doing things to keep you fit, not allowing distractions to keep you from it.

Don't focus on things, that will hold you back, just shove them aside, to keep you on track!

If you look back, and see what brought you down, you will find what it is, that can turn around!

Keep your heart, and mind focused on to your goal, there is plenty of stuff, that is good for your soul!

Be happy with the steps, that you take every day; don't get stuck in the traps, that will pull you down out and away!

I thank you for your encouragement, it means much to me! Keep moving forward, and soon you will be free!

Thanks for stopping by, Red. It sucks that you don't have internet at the moment, but you have made so many positive moves in recent months and I'm sure that getting the internet will come when it is time for it to come ... based on your on-going circumstances.

In the meantime, having missed seeing you for what seemed like ages, anytime you can get on your son's internet service and post is a great day for your buddies! Always look forward to your blog posts.
On that note, I will be absent, myself, for a time, due to circumstances here in my own real world, but hope to be back in a month or 2. emoticon
