One day at a time.
3/13 I GOT INTO MED SCHOOL! Woot! Coming out of "Maintenance Mode" (which has worked really well for the past month +, for what it's worth) to get back into being active in working toward my weight-loss goals. Joined my first Biggest Loser Challenge (Go Limes!) to get me excited about getting back to the gym. Still have a thesis to write, still have to finish up my Masters in Biomedical Ethics-- but feeling good about the future. I must go to the Gym. I will make the time! ...

My health is worth the effort! 10/2012 Recommitting to Self Improvement-- New Start Day--October 2012 Well, I came back. I had to graduate, go to family court, move across the state, start grad school, and get into my new routine-- but now that all of that is started, I am working hard to get stronger and eat better. I want to be healthier. I want to feel powerful. I want to have a healthy BMI for the first time in my life. I am very grateful for the loving support of my fiance, Jason, and my son, Valentine. I appreciate the fact that when they need to have a doughnut they sneak out and eat it when I'm not home. They have healthy meals with me and encourage me daily. It would be much harder without both of their help. I have decided that I would like to run. I am working up to it. It all depends on the buildup of my joints: I am going slow because my knees and ankles are the only ones I have. Better to work up to it slowly and get to enjoy it, than to rush out there and bust myself up. 3/12 I would like to be able to be more comfortable in my body. I want to be stronger and more able to walk and run.
