a journey to wholeness
ww was great, but it was time to try something else... something FREE! lol i'm really looking forward to continuing my journey to a healthier, happier, LIGHTER me :) i have been overweight ALL of my adult life. who knows how many pounds i have lost and gained and lost and gained, each time gaining back more. a year and a half i decided this time i was doing this for me, just me. i lost 30 lb with ww but that was getting a lil too expensive. and i wanted to be more aware of how ...
ww was great, but it was time to try something else... something FREE! lol i'm really looking forward to continuing my journey to a healthier, happier, LIGHTER me :) i have been overweight ALL of my adult life. who knows how many pounds i have lost and gained and lost and gained, each time gaining back more. a year and a half i decided this time i was doing this for me, just me. i lost 30 lb with ww but that was getting a lil too expensive. and i wanted to be more aware of how many calories i was actually eating. march 2013 update: i have lost 10 lbs since i started sparkpeople! i absolutely love the site and i am so grateful i have access to all of the info and tools for FREE! this is truly a blessing to me. hopefully i will lose another 40lbs by the end of the year. april 2013: started chalean extreme at the end of march. i don't really expect to lose alot of weight; but i do anticipate that i will continue to lose inches and gain much needed strength. slow and steady baby!

my first really big goal is to get below 200! then off to 179 i go... 12/29/12 - 229lbs 3/1/13 - 219lbs
My Program:
walking is my go to exercise! it helps me mind, body and spirit. and when all else fails, i put on some good music and shake my bootay! 3/2013 - plan on focusing more on toning with resistance bands & weights at least 3x weekly the best exercise is the one you do regularly! period.
