Working on changing my life

I've been struggling with my weight for the last 10 years. Unfortunately, personal issues, life and some knee, hand and hip problems have caused me to stop working on myself from time to time. I'm now recommitting myself to this goal, hopefully doing this in a smarter way, that won't aggravate my physical problems.

My Goals:

I'm rather tall (6'4") and have a large frame. My main goal right now is simply to get my weight down in to 180's in early 2010.

Smaller goals are to continue to use SP regularly and blog more.

My Program:

Using SP journaling to control my food proportions and eat healthy.

Cycling occasionally on the weekends, but I suspect that is over for the year as we move deeper into fall.

Continuing to do Jillian Micheal's 30 Day shred 3 times a week and walk 4 miles briskly 2-3 times a week.

I'm thinking I'll need to start using weight and cardio machines at the local parks & rec facilities this winter.
