Aging doesn't have to mean total deterioration!
I joined Spark People on April 4, 2010. It worked for me right away, and by November I had lost the 30 pounds I came to lose. I held onto that really nicely until about July of 2011 and then a little crept back. Then a little more in December. Turns out that maintenance really is harder than losing for me. So now I'm back to tracking every morsel of food. That's the key for me. Exercise is easy. Portion control and chocolate are a whole other issue. But I'm back on the right track ...

I want to continue to lose fat and build muscle past the plateau point and really get to where I feel good. Even more important, I want to maintain my improvement in health and size.

Eating less (and tracking every morsel) and exercising more (and tracking every step)

I live in Seattle because it's lovely here. I am married to my love and together we are raising a big mess of beautiful girls (ages 11 - 34).
