Changing my relationship with food

I am 60 yrs old, 5'3" tall and weigh just around 9stone - so I'm in the 'healthy' range. My issue is less being fat, and more about my relationship with food.

I am learning to manage my behaviour around food with the NoS diet which is working well for me. Three 'proper meals' a day - no snacks, sweets or seconds on weekdays - with some freedom at the weekends and on special days like birthdays. Good old-fashioned regular eating pattern! Three 'proper meals' a day - no snacks, sweets or seconds on weekdays - with some freedom at the weekends and on special days like birthdays. Good old-fashioned regular eating pattern! My behaviour around food is being modified very happily with this system. So glad I found it. Check out the NoS team page if you're curious!

I want to be fit, supple, happy, healthy, full of energy!
I'm keen to be lean!

The One Year Challenge on my ticker is a Linda Spangle thing - check her website for more info - it's basically committing to a year of using the 100 Days of Weight Loss book to stay on track to learn to manage emotional eating issues

Thanks for commenting on my blog post today. I am the same height as you but I would say on a good day I am an hourglass as I am broad shoulder and big hips but more often I would say a pear. That said the bit that still needs to go is my saggy belly, I am quite lean from my neck to my waist, its just from there down that needs work and my waist is currently 34.5 so even if I don't get the weight down to what is recommended I am determined to get my waist into the healthy range which currently with NHS in the UK is 31.5 or less for women.

Gill, I have struggled with getting the link too, perhaps you could paste it into the message with an "add link" block before you copy and paste into it. Thanks for everything and all your support x
