Happy, Healthy Me!

I am 59 yrs old, vegetarian not overweight, but getting older and feeling less strong, fit and supple than I used to be. Would like to maintain good health as I get older.

Having tried a whole load of different health eating strategies and bought more cookery books than I can even remember - I am now embarking on a MAINLY vegan wholefood journey and trying out more raw recipes.

My Goals:
1) to get and keep my weight under 9 stone
2) to get and keep my waist under 29"
3) to maintain a supple and strong body into my later years

My Program:
1) practise portion control
eat mostly clean, simple foods. weigh myself on 1.8.14
2) start by doing 5 mins of cardio on Mon, Weds, Frid. Hula hoop on Tues, Thurs, Sat for at least 10 mins. measure my waist on 1.8.14
3) do 30 mins of yoga on a Sunday
SMART goals set 5.7.14

Personal Information:
I live by the sea in the South West of the UK. I work full-time as a support worker with adults with learning disabilities. I am a Nichiren Buddhist which involves me in lots of activities.
