I am just starting to get into fitness. I have been recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease which apparently has been affecting me for over 12 years. I have lost weight in the past, but it was just to lose weight and then would be frustrating to maintain a diet or to not and then gain back even more. Now I am more concerned with health than the scale. I do not believe you should have to make yourself miserable to maintain a healthy weight.
