Losing it despite hip injury

In 2007 I lost 23lb using SP. Since then my weight has fluctuated by about 5-lbs going between 155 and 160. Recently, I have gone up to 164. I attribute this to a hip injury I suffered in April that is still giving me trouble. Because of the pain I have stopped running and walking. I started using an elliptical trainer but even that leaves me hurting the following day.

My Goals:
Get back to 155-lbs by Oct. 7, 2011 .
Weight train and cardio 3 times a week each.
Cut out evening snacking or at least make better choices.
Track my nutrition (especially fruits and veggies as well as fiber) and water intake.

My Program:
Cardio workout 3X / week plus strength training.
Exercise
Watch portion size.
Reduce snacking. Increase protein and fiber.
Decrease carbs and fats.
DRINK MORE WATER.

Recently moved from South Jersey to MD's Eastern Shore. I live here with my husband, Bill and our pets; Bodi, a Vizsla mix, Clyde (the grumpy old man cat), Sammi (needs Kitty SP) and Syd (feral kitty).

I am a freelance writer -- I have many published articles. including pieces on health, wellness and fitness. Recently, I have been concentrating my efforts on travel writing.

Just wanted to let you know that we are trying for a Spark Rally this coming Saturday on the Boardwalk at 11---and around 1 for lunch if you can't join us for the walk. Hope you can make it. And if you don't want to walk the whole boardwalk, you can turn at any point or sit along the boards.
