My Goals:
I've never really been at a "normal" weight for my age. It's difficult to "picture" what I would actually look like when I reach goal. More importantly is how will I feel about myself when I reach goal? Will it frighten me? I know I will feel better. There was a brief time in high school where I lost 30 pounds and was pretty close to goal weight but still 15-20 pounds over what the "chart guessers" thought. Yet I remember how energetic I felt, how awesome it felt to try on smaller pants, guessing at size, only to discover that they also were TOO BIG, and going down to a smaller size. Really cool. So I want that feeling again.

I've see various relatives struggling in their 70's and 80's because they made poor choices in their diet, didn't exercise, and they are having an awful time. Yet, I do see some friends in their 80's and 90's who are really ROCKIN', in great health, energetic, and I want to be that way when I'm in my 80's or 90

My Program:
Well, so far, the program is to just get this set up and figure out what is what, decide what to do, get some sleep, GET OFF THE INTERNET (including the wonderfully fun websites like this one!), and get some SLEEP!

EAT VEGGIES! I love them, but why won't I stop and prepare them for myself?

Go WALK and WALK/RUN

GET REBOUNDER SET UP!!

Do 15 minutes of DeCluttering 4-6 days a week (FlyLady!)

Okay, I'm not done with this list now. But I'm giving myself permission to stop here and revisit it later. It shouldn't go away anytime soon, as long as SparkGuy has enough squirrels running on the electric generators to keep powering the computers holding all of the SparkPeople pages!!

Then I can update this later with more profound coherent goals.

Personal Information:
I'm north of Wichita, KS not far - if that's where you are, drop me a note! Maybe we can walk??

Hello Julia!

No, there is no sock on my camera lens. emoticon But my camera is white. It is the white version of the Canon EOS 100D, called Rebel SL1 in the USA. You can google it and see. I had a bridge previously but wanted a better camera for work, so this is also the one I use for my hikes.

All the best setting and meeting your goals! emoticon

Hi Julia, on the 6th picture of the blog and the one before last (on the table) you can see my reflex camera. :) I like to decide what my pictures will look like and work on it a little. The pictures take a while to upload because they are very heavy, but I don't mind, I go and make myself a cup of tea while they upload on my laptop.
emoticon for your kind words!

Hi! Thanks for reading my blogs and commenting. When I saw the blog you commented too, all I could think was "Wow, this is an old one!". It was interesting to me to re-read what I wrote and did. I wish I could tell you how healthy and what great shape I am in now, but unfortunately that is not the case. I didn't keep up with following Dr. Axe's diet or his BurstFit program. But I do still follow Dr. Axe through his emails and youtube video's. I recently had my 3rd child and am about 18 pounds heavier than I was when I wrote that blog. I have been wanting to recommit to exercise and eating healthy, a big part of that would be following Dr. Axe's program again. Hopefully I will be blogging more again about it.
