Hello I am Brandy. I am recently divorced from my relationship of 11 years. I am saddened that our marriage didnt turn out how I dreamed it would...it was a huge change I had to make, it brought stress, sadness, and an empty heart, and it is over now. But it is now time to refocus my energy into the most important person.... ME!!! I often find myself resetting my goals.. I am currently working 2 jobs and rarely have time to focus on me. I have a dog Bella who I love with all of me. I am working towards better financial standings since my separation. I was a member back in 2011, and slowly went back to eating unhealthy foods and little to no exercise. I tried Paleo lifestyle for a period and I loved it but after my seperation it made eating more difficult since I was staying with family. I can give myself all the excuses in the world for my extended absence but no matter what at the end of the day they are still excuses. I am back to feeling lethargic by 2 pm every day, and have trouble sleeping. I was eating out regularly and was always bloated and had indigestion after a meal. I am always stressed and moody. I am tired of feeling that way. Sadly I did return to my poor dietary lifestyle while I was going through my divorce. I transitioned to the Paleo life style in the past because it made sense to me. ~I wanted to eat healthy whole foods every day. ~I wanted to try new foods and recipes, so I cook more at home. ~I wanted to chose not to eat out or have any fast food and if I chose to I want to be confident I will make better choices when I decide to. ~I want to feel good about what I am putting in my body. I know I can eat without feeling guilty about the food I am putting in my body. ~I don''t want to feel sick or bloated after eating. So today, I will reset my goals and challenges, to fit my new lifestyle. I am still staying with family until my finances are in order but I think I can slowly reintegrate some of the things paleo I enjoyed.

My Program:
1. I will walk every day for 15 mins with my dog, rain or shine.

2. I will aim to drink 8-10 -8oz glasses of water.

3. I will get 8 hrs of restful sleep every day.

4. I will take ten mins to myself in the morning.

5. I will eat cook Paleo meals 7 days a week at home.

6. I will eat 5-9 serving of fruits and vegetables every day.

7. I will try one new recipe every week.

8. I will take lunch to work 5 days a week.

My name is Brandy. I work as a nurse/ Memory Care Director with seniors who have dementia.

I have been in a relationship for 10 years with Joey, who is now my husband.

We have a beautiful dog Bella Picollini, and two cats Sage and Shorty.

I'm also in a job I don't like... stuck with bills so I can't quit... very frustrating, but trying to make the best of it. Hang in there and keep your chin up.     I hope you've enjoyed your weekend. I went to the flea market on Saturday....long day and it was super HOT! I have so much stuff to get rid of before I move in August. Today my hubby and friends took me out to dinner for my upcoming birthday, then to the mall---I purchased jackets for the kids for school and some Vicky Secret's Love Spell (that stuff smells GREAT—I think it's my favorite.)


    Can't say that I've been completely on track but not beating myself about it. Lifestyle not diet.


    Let's keep moving forward.
