2015 . . . Hanging out at Camp WannabeFit

Dang - I wish I could post the same thing I posted this time last year! But, I'm up 12 lbs, I got involved in a project that worked my tail off way too many hours most of the year and I can't seem to maintain a morning routine. The few upsides include . . . I haven't had any Diet Dr Pepper in 9 months, and have had very little artificial sweetner period in that time and I think I'm probably doing a better job of getting those freggies in most of the time.

That project has ended ...

That project has ended and it's time to figure out what I was doing in 2013 that was so successful. Time to return to the "Plan."

2014 . . . Just staying with the plan, 2013 was a pretty good year. I'm slimmer and stronger. I'm definitely playing more and working less. I'm definitely eating higher quality food. The morning yoga and meditation is at about 50%. The DDP . . . well . . .any lack of progress was a result of not following what is a really good plan. LOL

Thanks for visiting the blog. As for the silkworms, last year DD took a few silkworm eggs from the preschool to raise the caterpillars and show the boys the life cycle process. She saved the eggs from 12 moths (refrigerator) and then decided to hatch them at home this year. Thousands of eggs later, she gave away as many as other moms would take, but now is stuck with the process again. DGS's would not be happy if they were tossed!

The family took a 4 day getaway and I became the designated worm minder. I actually counted 150+ caterpillars while feeding them lots of mulberry leaves every few hours. I think the idea this year is not to allow too many moths to hatch and mate, but rather boil the cocoons and unravel the silk thread. The kids will figure out though that the creatures die, so I'm not sure how that will work for her.

Hey just checking in because I have been gone so long.

Wishing you only the greatest of everything. Hope this spring is the time to reach those goals, get closer or to start again. emoticon
