Hi, my name is Janet. I am really enjoying the SP Biggest Loser Spring Challenge. Go Team Indigo!!! The SP BL challenges help me stay on track. I probably would have gained a lot of weight had it not been for these challenges - awesome support, great strategies to stay focused, and an amazing team to cheer us on! We are midway through the SPRING Challenge and I'm having a great time!

We are midway through the SPRING Challenge and I'm having a great time!

I am totally jazzed at the thought of being healthy again! I used to be a healthy weight and full of energy. I hit some stressful times in my mid-20s that took a toll on my health and weight. About 9 years ago I trained for the 60-mile breast cancer walk and lost 50 lbs. It felt amazing. But right after, another bout of trauma and stress sent me back to bad habits.

Here I am, today ... 48 years old and READY to do this!!! Though I've had so many ups and downs with health (incl ovarian cancer - I'm a survivor!) and weight, I've never stopped wondering, "What if" I could be my healthy self again. I believe it's time. This is gonna work!

My Goals:
I'd like the scale to read 123 and I'd love to feel the energy and exhilaration of being in shape. I haven't forgotten what it feels like. I'm ready to be there again. I'm training for the Susan G. Komen 60-mile walk for October 2015 in Atlanta, Georgia. And a 5K this winter. I'm excited. This is gonna work!

My Program:
Get to the gym in the morning. Be mindful of what I eat. Drink water. Rest. Stay enthusiastic. Be caring of myself. Trust God. CHOOSE LIFE!!!
