Shyla at Connie's house waiting for my return.
Peter and me just before we got the fish to eat. In the middle of a park in Zurich. So fun!
thankfully I changed my goal into three segments. The first goal I reached and thought how easy it is to lose so I might as well aim for a lower weight. Today I am 1.5 lbs away from that goal and feeling so good I am aiming for another 10 lbs loss, which will be my weight I had before I had children and in my 20's. I also want to fit into size 4/6, not 6/8 like now, and I am flirting with the idea of wearing the same size of my girls (size 2 - 4). But that is because of a selfish reason, I would like to wear their throw away jeans. No matter what, I am now slim enough to really like the way I look.
First I want to have a healthy BMI around 20. To feel good in my old jeans and to live a long healthy life. To feel slim and trim and to get that strut walk back. According to Seaglassqueen, I should start the strut first and that supports the mind. Ok, ok now I am strutting and loving my body. It deserves it!
I enjoy Dr. Fuhrman, Tana Amen's recipes (the brain doctor's wife), and Jon Gabriel's visualizations. I feel better without gluten and low carb meals. I love the no diet mentality, and I am watching youtubes from Jenna la Flamme, who is also very cute and motivational. Her plan is pleasurable weight loss, and listening to the body what it wants, not ego. You know who, the one voice that says you are full, but your ego says, no way I want more.
Nicki, from Phoenix, Arizona. I lived 36 years in Switzerland.
Upon returning to my hometown, Phoenix, I finally got to finish my B.S. in Psychology at ASU. I am now retired and enjoying being a woman of pleasure!
I believe in the good in the world. I refuse to listen to negative information and I believe in myself. I love living in Phoenix again, and hope to never leave Arizona again. My husband is Swiss and he feels the same...for
Switzerland. We live together 3 months, then are separated 3 months, then it starts all over again. it works for us.

Thank you so much Tifffit! I love downtown Phoenix, my daughter also lives in central Phoenix. I live far south, Ahwatukee, and yes hiking is fantastic. I am amazed at your 60 lbs! Keep it up.

Congratulations on your successes!
I'm a Phoenician too (we live downtown) but had the opportunity to travel to Switzerland briefly as a teenager. That would be a tough choice for me--Switzerland in the summer was easily one of the most beautiful places I've had the good fortune to visit.

After receiving a Gold Star from 50+ members, I am not able to figure out how to say thank you!
If I go onto the page there are too many threads, and there are three people in charge. I will probably to to all three people's page to show appreciation. In case one looks here first, THANK YOU ALL for the Gold Star! I love it!

Thank you Raylinstephens,
Yes we can all do it, and thank you for the information about walking. I should go mornings and evenings. Too hot for lunch time in Phoenix.
You really gave me hope, thank you for the motivation!
