I'm a 42 year old woman who has been on every kind of diet imaginable to lose the weight I gained in college. But there was a time when I was about 27 I was leading a healthy lifestyle and lost around 25 pounds, and I keep thinking back to that time and what I did differently and it all comes down to eating healthfully and getting more exercise. I bought the Spark book on my Kindle and am reading it, and came to the website for more motivation and direction and to meet other people making the same journey toward wellness. Hopefully, we can encourage each other toward that same end.

Fitness Minutes: 1,111

My Goals:
I am eliminating diet soda--that had been SO difficult for me, but I've been away from it for awhile now, and am tracking it now. Also, am getting in 8 glasses of water a day, which I find is kind of hard. I'm exercising 10 minutes a day, and then will increase that, when I have that done consistently for 2 weeks.

Personal Information:
I have a disability that makes my bones break easily, so I'm not going to be jumping out of airplanes, or waterskiing, but it hasn't negatively impacted my life that much, I've found. Life if pretty much what one makes of it.


Other Information:
I love to read, visit with my 4 nieces, surf the Internet--and try to avoid shopping while I'm online!! This summer when I joined SP, I walked outside consistently for one month--it was great, but I live where it's snowy, and I can't fall on the ice, so I'm exercising indoors 'till around April.
