Giving up is NOT an option!

The main reason I want to get healthier is because I have a family history of diabetes and I know I'm at a high risk of getting it myself.

I was never thin after the age of 10. In high school I always averaged anywhere between 170 and 175 lbs. Yea, I'd like to know what it's like to be "normal" but I also want to know what it feels like to be healthy. I was starting to find out but my inner ''fat girl'' took over. It's a struggle every day to shut her up and do the right thing. ...

**Yes, I became a SP motivator last year but I'm not the shining example of health and fitness. Yes I occasionally eat pizza, burgers, chips, etc. and I don't feel guilty about it. I do what works for me and what I know I will be able to do for a long time to come. I just make adjustments as I go along.

My Goals:
I'd like to start running more. I'm slowly working myself up to it. What a rush! Who knew?!

I also want to try to learn to like strength training. That's my least favorite thing to do.

My ultimate goal is to get down to 140 lbs. I've never been lower than 170 in my adult life.

My Program:
I am staying within the recommended daily calorie range of 1220-1550.

I also do cardio at least 3x a week and strength training 2x a week.

Congrats...on Motivator of the Day!!!
We are at about the same weight right now. I have been struggling with my weight for so long, just trying different strategies and it is good to know that I am not the only one dealing with this. I love to eat, especially pizza.
Hopefully we get to our goal weight without a problem!!! Something to challenge ourselves with...But remember, you have your Spark buddies when needed...
