You either do or you don't! There is no try!

I will succeed at this.

I am starting over this month. I quit working it and thus, the weight has crept back! I am disappointed in myself, but I refuse to give into that excuse! I know without a doubt that Spark People works for me as long as I work it, so -- here we go!

My Program:
Shop the perimeter of the store

Going to exercise with friends at least 3X per week

Walking 30 mins per day or climbing stairs.

Drink lots of water

Use the 40% Carbs, 30% Protien & 30% Fat ratio for my daily cals. This works best with my diabetes.

Personal Information:
I live in Kemmerer, Wyoming. My name is Charlotte. I have 2 grown children and I am married. I run two businesses and I love to quilt! I am very good at organizing for other people, so now I am going to organize my health routine and make it work.

Other Information:
My BMR currently is 1948 with sedentary daily activity (1623 x 1.2). To have 500 cal/day deficit = 1448 avg. intake. If I want to lose 2 lbs. per week need to also do about 500 calorie burn in exercise.

Just checking in with some old friends.........glad to see you are posting again! I'm not quilting much now either and not even a member of the quilt teams because I didn't feel I was contributing much. I'm still here at spark people and I can certainly empathize with the arthritis issues because I've had 6 surgeries on my arms and hands in recent years. I still long to quilt again but it discourages me to know that my ability to do careful handwork is over. I'm even intimidated by the sewing machine; maybe I don't want to find out that I can't do well with it now either. Anyway, we all have to make come backs in life and I know you and I can do it! We just need to refuse to give up! One day this weight will be gone and I will finish another quilt! emoticon

Hey welcome back!! Me too. I'm on a mission to lose all the weight I have gained back. I started the day after Christmas and I'm slowly making progress. You can do it too.

I stopped by your page today to see what your award was all about and couldn't help but view all your photos. Very impressive quilts (and a lovely daughter!). You have inspired me to create a new quilt! Thank you!!!
