Every Moment is the FIRST moment of the REST of my LIFE!!

I should follow this advise:

"Never make someone a priority in your life
who makes you an option in theirs"

That means I need to make MYSELF a priority in my life, not just an optional part of my life. IF I want to be as healthy as I can be.

So, I will commit to these minimums:
Cardio exercise: 5 days a week
Strength & Toning exercise: 3 days a week
Maintaining a calorie deficit everyday 3 days per week.

My Goals:
To accept God's love, to let myself believe God truly does love me unconditionally.

To make my learning a new better-for-me life-style a top priority in every moment of my life. Rather than a sometimes affair.

My Program:
I am in the process of learning "NEW" Healthy habits with the goal of their becoming my "Normal" Living habits. It may take the rest of my life to get my body to its natural weight. I prefer slow loss to my new forever weight rather than quick and having the battle of the bulge go on forever.

Personal Information:
I just LOVE old movies (40's and 50's especially) "Random Harvest" "Mr. Chips" "Pride and Prejudice" "Singin in the Rain"
AND how about the music!! BIg Band (Glenn Miller, the Dorseys) the singers: Frankie Laine, Perry Como, Billy Eckstine

Other Information:
I am an American with ancestors from other countries and ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War (and other wars since). I live in the Northeast in one of the New England states, New Hampshire. I live in an old body (with a young soul), am retired, a widow, & have 3 middle-aged children(?).

emoticon so much for the support and encouragement on my page. I apologize for the delay in responding. The BLC has definitely been a successful portion of my journey. The experience has been very enjoyable due in large part to teammates like you that reach out to lend a hand. I hope the challenge has also been good for you. In future challenges should I be invited to "play", I will strive to treat the "newbies" as well as you and other BL veterans have treated me.

I never, EVER, kayak alone. No one should. It is simply not a safe, especially if one should unexpectedly capsize. Just like the "never swim alone" rule, one should never kayak alone. Regarding biking, as for myself, I never go alone in wooded trails. Too many variables exist. But, on a paved rail trail or the like, where there are active participants on the trail, I don't mind going alone but always carry my cell phone. Safety and caution is my unspoken motto with these two fun activities.

Thanks for stopping by and the congrats! We are still searching for a venue - looking at Fall 2015.

The next round will start Sept 17, I can let you know when sign ups open. I absolutely loved being with the Mocha Maniacs - I think you would fit in very well with us!
