My Goals:
I want to lose 61 pounds so that I can be healthier, get out and enjoy the great outdoors here in the Southwestern U.S., and start my personal training business, working with senior citizens and overweight women. (Yes, I am a certified personal trainer, even though you can't tell by looking!)

My Program:
I exercise 5 days a week for 30 - 90 minutes, mostly at the gym and water aerobics, because of injury. I am using the 5-Factor Diet book to help with my meal planning.

Personal Information:
I live in New Mexico and am a full-time graduate student in a distance program out of Portland, OR in Intercultural Relations. (Basically, I get to go to Portland for 2-3 weeks each semester and then come back and work my rear off alone to finish my assignments!) Recently divorced, I am just trying to get my life back and part of that includes losing "excess baggage" in all its forms! I haven't always been overweight, but a stressful marriage and unfulfilled dreams seem to have had their way with me. It was difficult even posting these pictures, but they do reflect reality, so I guess I might as well face it! The important thing is that I am turning things around from this point on...

Good Morning and Greetings from central Indiana, and WELCOME to SparkPeople!!! Just stopping by for a short visit and to wish you a good day. One of my short term goals is to visit as many of the SparkPages of members of the different teams that I am on. I try to visit one page per team per day (and, yes, I'm keeping track of the pages I visit; 250+ pages & counting). You are my "Geocaching" visit for today.

Nice start on your SparkPage. I really like the SparkPages, and think setting one up is an important step; you have to think about what you want to present, and be willing to put it out there for the world to see/read.
