Gwen, Thanks for your note on my blog- I promised you the story. I am very happy flying solo. I think there is an entire demographic of single women, probably Baby Boomers... we are independent & living life to the fullest.
Thanks for keeping Allan in your prayers! He's doing as well as can be expected. He's using a walker & will begin PT in 2 weeks. Still dealing with pain, but is managing & his legs don't seem to want to move right away & he's frustrated. My daughter says he's getting a little better everyday....sleeping is an issue. They have a sleep number bed, so he's able to adjust the firmness for comfort. She went out & bought a wedge to help him lay better & make it easier to get in & out of bed. She had to take him to the community center to use the showers to bathe because he can't lift his legs to get into the tub to shower...poor guy! You can imagine his frustrations! Anyway, I'm glad all is well in your world! Lovin' the Dickens out of your little guy!
Hi Gwen, I had never heard of them before my church said they would host the event. Here's the website if you want to read a bit about it... http://onepurse.org/ I just wish they weren't have this be a "Desert" night...I'm making a 4 Berry salad and bringing Greek Yogurt sweetened with Stevia. I need to get these women on track I asked God to use this disease of mine for the Kingdom...maybe this is part of what He has in mind. Thank you for all your continued support. I keep praying for resolve and I give God the Glory for anything I am able to do... Hugs to you and the little Dickens, Nancy, L&L
