2010: Not to bad this time around. I went on the Medifast diet and dropped 21 pounds. It was great, but a little pricey. If you stick with it, it really works. The only problem is I went off it about 4 months ago. I just wanted to eat normal foods again, but I packed on 13 pounds that I lost. Of course, I hate like a litte stuffed piggy! So, I am going to incorporate what I learned from there into this program and see how it goes. At the moment I am losing the water weight from all the junk I ate over Easter. I lowered my goal weight by 5 pounds also. I hit 135 on my last diet and thought I could stand to lose a little more. Anyway, if I can help anyone just let me know. I will see about adding some more updated photos. also.
2009: OK, I jumped ship! It has taken some time, but I have finally found my way back on board. I really over did it on the holiday overload, even before. I just remember mid summer I was so burned out on exercise and watching what I ate and still not seeing my goal weight, I gave up. This year I decided to try again. I may not see my goal weight in the near future, but I will see a smaller me. I am starting a little slower this year and hoping slow and steady wins the race. I am trying to avoid burnout.
2008: I am the mother of two boys and a wife to an ever bigger boy. ha ha I have battled the weight issue since the boys came along (maybe a little before). Whenever I reach my goal I start back to the bad habits. The older I get the harder it becomes to reach my original weight. For my height and build 135 is a good weight. I hate diets and diet programs...to me that always seem like a short term fix. I have always been more DIY type. I think that is my biggest problem. I just want to do it and go my merry way. The thought of being accountable to someone else is a bit unnerving for me (as far as the weight issue goes).
This is it, my attempt at being a part of a bigger plan, letting others in on my journey. My life is hectic with work, home, kids, but I am sure this is nothing new to most of the people here.
I know I can do this….lets see how bad I want it.
