Thanks for the comment on my Spark page. The same thing happen to some friends of mind in a rural community near New Orleans. Once I was running in rural North Carolina (without my headlight) and a forest creature (I couldn't discern what it was but it seemed nearly as large as me) ran along side for me for a half a minute. I don't know who was more frightened. Nevertheless, I reached my max heart rate that morning. lol Again thanks for your comments. 10 days ago
Thank you for stopping by my page and commenting. Our new Lab, Marigold, is easier on my when I exercise. She'll lie down a few feet from me and watch like she's not quite sure what to do. She has a very serious expression. Dogs are the best, aren't they?
Once we let the foster pups into the sunroom for the night they seemed to ignore the fireworks and sleep. Lady is our one with PTSD from her days as a feral dog and we've tried putting a thunder shirt on her but that is worse than having her go without one. My husband ends up just staying in the basement with her for about 2 weeks around this time.
Sadly here in town a dog got out of his yard last night because fireworks made him scared and then he got hit by a car and died. So sad and so unnecessary if people thought about where they are shooting them off. 20 days ago
