My Goals:
My ultimate goal is to lose 42 pounds. I also want to get more active.

Small goals:

Be under 190 by 1/17/09. GOAL MET!!

Have total weight loss 10 lbs by 2/13/09. GOAL MET!!

Maintain current weight for one week. GOAL FINALLY MET!

Lose 5 pounds during March.

My Program:
I have joined Anytime Fitness. My plan is to go as often as I can and if nothing more do at least 20 minutes of cardo.

Personal Information:
I am from Virginia. I am married and have 4 sons. One by birth and three by marriage. I just recently got married....5/21/08 in Jamaica....right on the beach. I am an LPN and I am attending school part-time for my RN degree.

zumba is a silly silly lil workout. I don't dance or any of that so it was just horrible to me. lol I can't move like that.. I am not a graceful person and i get confused with 'moves' lol and such. how've you been doin?

Hey, just got caught up with Sparkpeople posts and messages. Life has been CRAZY . . . mostly work, work, work. . . unfortunately, I took a nasty fall on the ice - banged up my hand pretty good. Nothing broken, just a nice cut, but it is healing nicely. I have been hitting the gym with some consistency, but still am struggling with "emotional" eating!!! Haven't lost, but then haven't gained. So, my energy right now is going into becoming focused again. Sounds like you are doing well - keep up the hard work. Thanks for your message - it is always good to know that I can come here and find a friend.

Tips on running - I started by jogging for three minutes and walking for one, jogging for three minutes and walking for one, etc. up to 30 minutes. If you can even start by jogging for two and walking for one - just do what you can and start building up. I would do things like tricking myself "I will jog to the start of the hill" "to the end of this song" and gradually built up to jogging longer without walking. I still walk every couple of minutes. Good Luck!!
