Wife and mother of 2 trying to be fit when I turn 32. I need the last of my baby weight off! I want to be happy when I take family pictures. You can't really hide behind a 2 year old. My life is waiting for me.....
I was a normal sized child until I was diagnosed with asthma. My mother was always afraid I was going to have an attack so I didn't do to many activities as a child and I was fat. I used to have to wear some of my sister's clothes and they always used to let them out so I could fit in them.
At puberty I grew several inches and lost a lot of weight. My asthma also disappeared. My weight was never a problem until I started college. I put on 10lbs, but I always took it of by the end of the year. Started in the workforce and went back to college. The stress of this program helped me add 20 lbs to my frame. I got married in 2004 and loss the weight for my wedding. I was doing fine and then got pregnant and gained 60lbs. Lost it and got pregnant again. I don't regret what I ate when I was pregnant... those cravings are strong and it's already done.
I started this weight loss journey in 1/2009 weighing 186, the heaviest ever without being pregnant. I am sooo going to get this weight off.
SP is really helping me stay motivated.
Once you have children they change everything. I don't want my girls to carry a weight issue the way I'm carrying mine. They will love exercise and clean food because they won't have anything else to compare it to.

I've been going at this ting like a maniac and didn't even realize that in the process, I am no longer trying to be fit., I'm trying to lead a fit life!
Right now just trying to build muscle and eat clean...it's time to enjoy the fruits of my labor!
To go from 154 to 130lbs .

Inspire someone else the way I've been inspired by Sparkpeople.
I started P90X on July 18th, 2009. I didn't pass the fit test so doing this is a challenge within itself.
Workout 6 days a week with the P90X program.
8/29/2009: 6 days a week with insanity
Burn 400 calories in my target heart rate zone when I'm doing my cardio. 8/29/2009: burn 600 calories during cardio.
No fried, greasy smothered anything.
High fiber diet.
Cut back on red meat to twice a week; get protein from fish, seafood, chicken, turkey and eggs.
Drink at least 8 cups of water a day.
To added insanity after 2 rounds if p90 X. 8/29/2009: I started Insanity today couldn't wait any longer!
Stop eating until I'm stuffed. All it does is make me mad and uncomfortable.
I love my husband and my children dearly. I want to be around for them as much as I want to be healthy for me.
Fitness is for Life.
