No more excuses

I am the only person responsible for my actions. Saying I don't have time to eat right, exercise, plan meals, etc., means that I just don't want to take the effort to do it. I would rather do what I want to do. I will start over with small steps to discipline. I've gone back to Stage 1 and will track my food daily. Sounds so simple, but I know myself too well and don't want to make excuses any more.

My Goals:
1. use nutrition tracker daily for 2 weeks.

That is enough for now. More goals to follow.

My Program:
Check in daily with SP.

Personal Information:
Lived in Illinois my whole life.

Two grown children, one in Nebraska, one in Ohio.

Three grandsons with another due in May.

My husband and I hope to retire within 3 years and will probably re-locate to be closer to family.

Other Information:
I learned to knit when I was about 8 yrs old, but consider myself an advanced beginner. I have a fairly good yarn stash and 4 or 5 projects started with more in the planning stages.

Received a new sewing machine for Christmas that does way more than I thought a sewing maching could ever do, Haven't really started with any sewing yet.

I read a lot. My favorites are inspirational fiction and mysteries. I don't like explicit descriptions when I read. I usually have an audio book in the car for the drive to work. I also get several magazines.

Hi there, how are you? I have to admit, I've fallen off the wagon! I need to get back on track, but it seems like I'm crashing right now. This always happens though, and I know that if I just get back on track, I'll be ok. I know I haven't been as bad as I could have been, so I just have to be grateful for that! I hope you have fun with your family and good luck with being healthy AND happy when you see them!

emoticon emoticon emoticon to the Christian Needlecraft's Team Nita. I'm Liligrac, you've picked a good team if you're in need of encouragement, friendship and fellowship. These people here are great! What hand work do you do? I'm currently into knitting socks!! also I crochet, sew, quilt, cross stitch (counted & stamped), do Native American Beadwork & weave baskets. It's great to have you join the team, and I look forward to getting to know you.

Thanks for the encouragement :-) I'm actually down because of a lot of things, not dieting. I haven't been to work in about 7 weeks so I've got cabin fever and I don't have any friends around here and the efforts that I'm making to try and get friends isn't working so far which can be very depressing. Tonight I feel a little better. I am driving to see a friend who lives about an hour away. That's not too bad and it's always nice for her and I to get together. Thanks for the kind words though, it helps to know that somebody out there is listening :-)
