If not now, then when?
I'm 78 years old and determined to lose the excess weight that has plagued me for many years. I live in New Mexico and love it here! I have a daughter, a son-in-law, two grandsons, one granddaughter, and two great-grandsons all living in the same town here in NM, as well as two sisters and a brother. In addition, I have a great-granddaughter living in Texas How's that for having a family worth living well for? I love life! Nina

My Goals:
My goal is to bring my weight to 145 lbs., my high blood pressure to "normal" and my blood sugar within a healthy range.
My Program:
Every day to do some kind of exercise; Sunday off.
To drink at least 8 glasses of water daily.
To keep within my recommended calorie range.
Personal Information:
I'm 5'5", with a re-starting weight of 264 lbs. My goal is 145 lbs. That means I have LOTS of weight to lose to get to goal.
Other Information:
My hobby is writing. I had one book published, "Rebeccah's Crossing," and hope to have more.
I love to crochet as a way to keep my hands busy-and away from my mouth!
I was born in Colorado, raised in Nebraska, but lived in and claim New Mexico as "home" now for 50 years. I've also lived in California, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Iowa, and Arizona.
I am definitely a Christian; I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I retired from civil service, working as a Department of the Army civilian for 30 years. I was a Logistician. I worked at White Sands Missile Range in NM. Upon retiring, I have worked as a consultant to a company in Virginia.
I was married to my husband, Wray, for 39 years before I lost him in January 2012.
