It is only failure if you stop trying!!!

Here I go again, starting over, not really, just going back to what I know will work. I have been here off an on for over four years, and was really making great strides towards achieving my goals, and them BAM a major life change has really put a wrench in my plan, but I am done putting my goals on hold because things life has become complicated. I know what I need to do to reach my goals, my biggest problem is not letting things derail me from my path.

By rich/heavy I meant the steak, pizza, and even sometimes chicken can be made into really large meals that are rich on the taste buds and heavy in the stomach. As long as you're measuring and portioning out, then you're doing great. So many people will have meals like those you mentioned and overdo them (who hasn't seen a steak the size of a man's head?). Enjoy it all in moderation.

BTW, speaking of pizza, with the tomatoes you'll be getting you can probably make an incredible margharita pizza with fresh ingredients.

Keep rocking it!

Hi Niki! I'll probably follow what you do with the meat and spinach and feta! Thanks for the link to the recipe! I can't wait to try it and will let you know how it goes! Thanks, Melissa

Thank you so much for your kind words on my previous blog- means a lot that you were there during that off-track time. May we make it through the holidays with as few 'war wounds' as possible! emoticon
