Taking it One Day at a Time

At nearly 40 years old it is time for me to really make a change. One that will stick.

I am bound and determined that this is going to be my time. My day. My year.

In my lifetime I was at a fairly normal weight until I was about 19. Since then though, I've only been close to that normal weight again a couple times. The past few years I've managed to lose 20 - 30 lbs and gain it back. Thankfully never going past the "high weight."

I am counting calories and planning my meals.

My recording is done on My Fitness Pal because it is linked to multiple apps on my phone (whereas SP isn't)

I am following the first Beck book currently.

Personal Information:
I work in the office of a bus station in NE. Prior to moving to NE (for a relationship) I worked as a school librarian, a teacher and a tutor.

I have one furkid - my cat Kari.

Other Information:
I love to read! It is probably my greatest passion. Just a few of my favorite authors: John Grisham, Richard North Patterson, Janette Oke, Laura Ingalls Wilder, etc. Some of my all time favorite movies: Good Will Hunting, Beaches, Rainman, The Fox and the Hound ....
