    Bravery had nothing to do with it! If I want to get to work, it involves walking: first 1/2 mile to my train stop; then once I get to the next depot, I was 1.5 miles to my job, then do the reverse. No choice in the matter, but most days it's nice to have built-in exercise! emoticon

    Was definitely surprised to have reached that many steps. But then again, I walk 10 minutes or so to train, when I get to next town I walk 1.5 miles to work, then do the reverse when done. Also, in my job at Savers--huge resale store--I'm constantly on my feet: running cash register, collecting clothes from dressing rooms, sorting clothes, pushing racks & rehanging clothes. Only time I sit is at break or lunch.
    And that particular evening, I went for an hour long walk with a friend once I got home. VERY unusual to put in THAT many steps. Should have checked miles, too, but forgot! emoticon
