Since joining SparkPeople, I have become slimmer and healthier -- in spite of major surgery in January 2010. I am able to do much more than before and feel better.

I am the mother of 6 gifts from God, 3 boys -- Jason, Richard and Bryan --and 3 girls -- Kristen, Catherine, and Jessica. One of my sons is presently in the military (Air Force), one got out of the Navy and went to graduate school and got his Master's degree in biology and is now here in WA state deconstructing a ship, and the third is working after getting out of the Army and is working on his college course work to become a psychologist. He has joined the Army National Guard now and they will help him to pay for his education. My oldest daughter is a paralegal, my second daughter is an R.N., and the youngest is employed by the DOL.

I have eight grandchildren, a girl Paige and a boy Isaac, an adorable boy named Keith Bryan, a grandson named Dylan, a grandson named Trent, a girl Isabella Noelle, then Brady, and an infant named Eric.

I also am the crazy cat and dog lady. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs.

God is my rock and my strength.

Hi Nellie, I didn't know you were in the hospital, hope you are feeling better? Praying all improves for your health. Take it easy, Connie

PS Also, thanks for including my dad in your prayers. Much Appreciated.

Nellie I didn't go to heaven and back but my friends were called in and prayed for me as one night they thought I was dying. The elder from our church sat at my beside for 5 hours and prayed and I went back to rehab soon after that.
God has a purpose for us being here.
