A Positive Outlook

How hard is this?
I love working out, that has never been my problem.
Swim, bike, run. It is all fun.
My problem is the food.
It would be so easy if I didn't like to eat really yummy things!

My Goals:
I hate setting goals because they are so hard to meet. My goal is to change my eating habits so all of the working out I do isn't a waste of time.
I have done the Los Angeles Triathlon for the past 5 years, but this year I would like to do it in a respectable time. Actually to improve my 5k and 10k times as well.

My Program:
I am going to monitor my eating habits. I need to make better/healthier decisions on what I eat and probably eat less.
I will also monitor my exercize. I should try to doing different types of cardio so I don't get bored and lose intrest. I should probably add in more strenght training.

Don't be afraid of the Half Marathon. I think it it's a great distance to race! I haven't done the full yet but I definitely prefer 10Ks and 13.1s to the fast and furious 5Ks.

Slow and steady is where it's at!

Have a great weekend.

Hi Janine, My run went great! My shins started hurting and I walked a bit but I still beat my time from my first 5 K at Surf City. Great job on taking time off from your 5k! Any time counts! The beer garden was pretty cool, Ill be posting pics today, so you can check them out. I was looking to see if I saw anyone who resembled you but I was not successful. When is your next run? emoticon
