I'm Changing For The Better And I'm Worth It.
I am a 45 yr old mother of four and grandmother of two. I gained 60 lbs about 10 yrs ago when I used Norplant. My entire body chemistry changed and my metabolism came to a stand still. My diet has always been healthy but about 1/2 of the caloric intake as I should have. I am happy to have stumbled onto this website of wonderful people and inspiration. I've been hooked on The Biggest Loser but haven't been inspired as much as I'd like until I found SP. Thank you for such wonderful ...

My Goals:
I am currently at 197 lbs. My goal is to lose 50 lbs, to become an active person. One who lives life to its fullest. Currently I'm still raising a couple of kids at home. My routine is a 40 hr week, feeding my family dinner, and housework. Even my weekends are for the major housework projects. When is it time for me. I plan to make exercise my time and to learn to enjoy and crave it.
My Program:
Continue drinking plenty of water throughout the day. Eat more and MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!! I've always eaten lots of fruits and vegetables but have skipped breakfast for years. Now breakfast is one of my biggest meals. Oatmeal with blueberries and walnuts added, coffee and a piece of fruit. Three days a week I've incorporated resistance bands into my physical activity.
Personal Information:
Born in Dover, NH. Family moved to Zephyrhills, FL in 1978, I was 14yrs old. Moved away for 15 yrs, decided to go back home to raise my kids. It's a good little town with all of my siblings and their kids. Some of my old teachers are now teaching my kids...The Circle Of LIfe!
Other Information:
I am a reading freak! I read anything from novels to Prevention magazine on my front porch every night. I put the kids to bed at nine and go to my sanctuary. The neighborhood is dark and quiet so I can let the days stresses leave me. You should make yourself a special place.
