WELCOME TO MY SPARK
I've been a Spark member since the end of 2005 and during that time I have lost over 130 pounds. More importantly, I have improved my eating and exercise habits for the rest of my life! I've been a Spark member since the end of 2005 and during that time I have lost over 130 pounds. More importantly, I have improved my eating and exercise habits for the rest of my life! My primary goal has been to get my health back. In 2004 I started suffering from extreme fatigue, got sick all the time, and was rapidly gaining weight for no apparent reason and reached a high weight of 287. In March 2005 I was diagnosed with Auto-immune Thyroiditis, but it still took several more month of medication before there was any improvement in symptoms. Between the meds and the improved eating and exercise habits I have learned at Spark, I have my health back and now feel better and have more energy than I've had in years. I had maintained at my goal weight for about 4 years. Then I was diagnosed with cancer. Between forced inactivity, medications, and quitting smoking, I've gained about 30-40 pounds back that I don't need. So I am back here at Spark People to take it off again.
