Thanks for your comments on my sparkpage. Of course, I've been tracking down whatever help is available for a year and a half by now, but there are so many obstacles. As for doctors, they're just ignorant; they haven't met a lot of patients like me and they're resistant to considering what they always believed to be 'too rare to encounter' could be sitting in front of them. I keep looking for new medical options though, and sometimes they pay off.

The other night I spent a few hours looking at potential fundraising websites, but I'm not ready to pull the trigger just yet. Setting it up will take more energy, focus, and effort than I'm willing to give to it right now. But by spreading out the work (researching, reviewing, setting up, promoting, etc) it's not so taxing. I've also considered doing some blogging online with an attempt to make just a few dollars from it, but I'm not ready to jump into that yet. Maybe someday! Also hoping to eventually get around to working on a simple book I started late last year that I want to self-publish. When I get time, energy, and motivation that's something for me to work on.

I truly appreciate your want to help. The support I get helps me get through the rough stuff, day-to-day, so your support means a lot. If you ever come across anything that might help, feel free to send it my way. Sometimes good things just happen though. (Be sure to check out the blog I posted today for some good news!)

I hope the new food is working for your puppy and that he's doing well!

Yes, I agree! We have comedy hour (or all day long at times) at our house with the puppies. We are dog sitting my BIL's 80 pound Mountain Cur and he plays with the puppies all day long. He is so gentle and lays on the floor and lets them crawl all over him. Then, he plays tug 'o war with the two of them on one end and him on the other. Oh what I would give for a video camera! We laughed ourselves silly!

I'm far from retired, but I have freinds who are, and now I never see them, they are so busy all the time. So, I hope it does calm down for you.

No, the pup that we had to put down was 16.5 years old. We got her as a companion for the sweet boy that we had to put down in January. We actually thought she would go first but our precious baby boy got sick quickly and died first. Our puppies sure do help with the overwhelming grief that hubby and I feel over the loss of our two old fur babies.
