Hi, y'all! My friends call me Reb, so please do! :) I'm 36, and have been married for 12 years, and have an 11 year old daughter with Cystic Fibrosis. I teach middle school vocal and classroom music to a little over 500 kids each week.
My highest weight ever was December 2005 - the Christmas after Hurricane Katrina. I weighed 321 pounds back then.
I joined Curves in 2006 weighing 306 pounds.
I re-started my weight loss journey, and got serious about losing weight March 24, 2008. I weighed 301 pounds, and had been walking on a cane for over two years.
Today, I no longer use a cane to walk, and haven't since May 2008, after losing the first twenty pounds. :)
I made lifetime membership with Weight Watchers in September 2009 weighing 130 lbs.
I'm working my way back to being a free Lifetime Member with Weight Watchers. I love going to the meetings, but going for free would even be better. :)
I do spinning 3 days a week, run on the elliptical 4 days a week, and one night week I attend yoga, Zumba, step aerobics and pump class. I also work with weights and strength training 5-6 days a week.
I am learning to play the guitar as my new non-exercise, non-food related hobby! :) I already sing, play piano, trumpet, xylophones, and drums, so this is next on my list! :)
I have been counting WW points daily since March 24th,2008.
I do journal, but not food...I journal how I feel each day about what I did, or what I need to do.
I do not eat after 7pm at night. I still try really hard to stick to this.
And, that's it. :) That's how I'm losing the weight. :)
I chose this title, because for me, it is about re-learning from old habits, and learning HOW to lose weight healthy, and purely from my own determination (read:stubborness and sassiness).
I want to be around a long, long time for my "mini me".
Also, in the end it would be nice to be "one hot mama"....lol. :)

At least 30 minutes of exercise each day!

My hobbies include: shopping, collecting junk...lol
