Live in northeastern Montana.

One of my Spark friends had this on his status (4/28/2016) -- THENEWMICHAEL "When it comes to measuring progress, the mirror is a better instrument than the scale."
WOW!!! That is something we all need to take to heart!

We all have a whoops day. Its what you do the day after that counts... Kaliswalker

JOHAL52 is still in a holding pattern over life. But that's okay--sometimes holding patterns can lead to growth--it's up to me :) -- Her status for 2Aug11 -- A small comment that speaks volumes.

CATINCJ Never set your goals at some else's pace or evaluate your performance by someone else's standards. Added 2May13 from her feed that day.

My Goals:
To exercise more, get more toned, and get to a healthier weight. I would like to stave off any joint problems in legs and hips.

Another goal which I have is to get rid of a lot of the "stuff" I possess, way more than I need to have.

My Program:
Portion Control - although I haven't been real successful in doing this, I am more aware of what portions are and try to stick with them most of the time.

I use the nutrition tracker and follow no particular weight loss diet, just try to get more freggies, less carbs and fat. I have been customizing the "my favorites" list to include the foods I use the most. I have been also making use of the exercise tracker, getting at least 10 minutes of cardio every day. I try to do some strength trainig 3 days a week.

Personal Information:
I live in Northeastern Montana. I work more than full time at a desk job. I spend way too much time on the computer...

Jan, 2016 -- All of this still holds true.

Other Information:
Am a cat person. Like to knit, sew, quilt, garden -- but don't seem to get much of them done.

2/24/2013 -- Several fiber craft people have been meeting during lunch hour once a week to work on projects, visit, and show off our latest projects. We also share techniques when someone has a problem with their project. Some are also starting into spinning using drop spindles.

It's easier than you think to live well.
There's a way to lift life from so-so to satisfying
and from good to great that is practically effortless
    and almost instant.
In fact, all it takes is making a choice:
the choice to count your blessings.
    Once you begin,
you'll discover more and more to count!

Pick whichever smile you need to get through the day!

"Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect.
There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions.
    So what. Get started now.
With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful."

So sorry for scaring you with the title of my blog. After a week of dealing with prior foster dog(s) problems, the news today just tipped me over, Sometimes a good vent online just helps put it all back in perspective. Thanks for your support.

TY !! TY !! TY !!! There was a fire here 2 weeks ago. THANKFULLY all of our units have sprinklers in every room. PHEW !!! It did contain hers. She's an older person who had fallen asleep smoking. She IS being evicted. Our building is a NON smoking one and its very clear in our leases in which we all sign that says "I agree to not smoke in my unit. If I do I agree I am given a notice to quit effective 30 days from incident." And they DO !! I really don't worry about a regular fire. Now if there's an explosion that's different. In general that's those who have oxygen (I don't think out of the 100 apts there are hardly any) and smoke at the same time. UGHERS !!!

TY SO MUCH for reading my blogs !
