Fitness Minutes: 78,113

My Goals:
To exercise more, get more toned, and get to a healthier weight. I would like to stave off any joint problems in legs and hips.

Another goal which I have is to get rid of a lot of the "stuff" I possess, way more than I need to have.

My Program:
Portion Control - although I haven't been real successful in doing this, I am more aware of what portions are and try to stick with them most of the time.

I use the nutrition tracker and follow no particular weight loss diet, just try to get more freggies, less carbs and fat. I have been customizing the "my favorites" list to include the foods I use the most. I have been also making use of the exercise tracker, getting at least 10 minutes of cardio every day. I try to do some strength trainig 3 days a week.

Personal Information:
I live in Northeastern Montana. I work more than full time at a desk job. I spend way too much time on the computer...

Jan, 2016 -- All of this still holds true.

Other Information:
Am a cat person. Like to knit, sew, quilt, garden -- but don't seem to get much of them done.

2/24/2013 -- Several fiber craft people have been meeting during lunch hour once a week to work on projects, visit, and show off our latest projects. We also share techniques when someone has a problem with their project. Some are also starting into spinning using drop spindles.

    U R SOOOO PAWSOME !! TY very much for the encouragement ! Yes it's ONLY 2 weeks as you said, and since I've been going through this almost 2 1/2 yrs,,,thats a "PIECE OF CAKE!" Yeah CAN we EAT cake?? Yuppers as long as we have the calories available and in it's portion size (Some days if REALLY want something I'll have oatmeal for dinner ! It frees up more calories !) THough as you do, I use the Spark tracker and do my BEST to hit my carbs, fats, protein and fiber,, and some other things I've added in such a sodium.

    How are you doing with the measuring and portion sizes or the LTGL? Only one day I wasn't to claim the 10 points. I had some how slept until ONE PM 1 YO !

    Sometimes the road of life takes us to a place we had planned....

    Sometimes it shows us a surprise around the bend we could never have anticipated. We make decisions based on the information we have...We accept our ups and downs as they come...We live "one day at a time."

    But often we find it is only when we look back that we can see that what we had thought was a "wrong turn" has brought us to exactly the right place and every step was a right one after all!!

    TY SOOOO MUCHERS for the AWESOME support !! I appreciate it A LOT !!

    I found the info of what to do after surgery. My friend,,, she's sweet, kind, helpful, but yeah she's not good at times she considers to be stressful. Yesterday was one of those. After you come out of surgery you don't remember much IF anything. In finding the papers I CAN walk on my foot ! YEAH !!! I had hurt the heal over a month ago. I went for it, was told it was the arch of my foot. To stay off it and I have, but today I put some weight on it, since that's the foot of the surgery,, and OUCHERS ! YO !!! I'll see my regular foot Dr when i can.
